CONDITIONS

QualityCourses would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the city and to offer you as much help as we can.

QualityCourses Accommodation Service was designed to provide accommodation for overseas students who come to Malaga to study for a short period of time. To this end we have developed our service so that students are able to come to Malaga and not have to worry about living arrangements.We offer single or double rooms in shared apartments, in which the student only has to pay the rent on his/her room, without having to find flat mates, or anything else… However we do also offer the option of renting a whole flat if you and your friends are arriving and leaving at the same time.

Most of our accommodations, be they apartments or staying with a host family which are located in the “Centro Historico” (old town) or close to the Spanish School of the University of Malaga.

Points to remember:

- If you study at the El Ejido campus, you will not have any problems as the majority of properties are located between 10 and 15 minutes of the campus. Please note, if you study at Teatinos campus we are no longer offering accommodation in this campus as we have found in the past that most students who live there decide to leave the accommodation after a short time preferring to be closer to the town centre.

- The cheapest accommodation option is sharing a flat where the lounge, kitchen and bathroom(s) are shared .

- If you arrive in September/ October or January/February, please bear in mind that those are our busiest times, so please be patient!! We would recommend that you get in touch with us around two months before you are due to arrive to reserve your accommodation, if you wish to have a place organized before your arrival. If you would rather wait and view the accommodation first, QualityCourses will be available to view properties with you, but we remind you that with the arrival of so many students the choice may be restricted.

- At the moment we can offer descriptions of properties and their location, when you request your reservation.Soon we hope to be able to offer photographs of the accommodation to give you a better idea.

- None of our properties has central heating or air conditioning, cable or satellite TV, or telephone lines, (except with host families where students may receive calls) or internet access. All properties do have a television with standard channels.

- We offer accommodation with families or in apartments.If you wish to get in contact with us please fill in the reservation form with your details and avail us of any worries or requirements that you may have.We recommend that you visit our web page where all terms and conditions of reservations are outlined, so that you are fully informed of our basic reservation conditions.

Management fee:

Total: 100 € / person. Fee is only paid when accommodation is confirmed.

SHARED APARTMENTS

Apartments

All the apartments QualityCourses provides are located in the city centre and are all furnished. (washing machine, T.V., etc…)

How to make a booking?

To book a room only supposes to pay the rent of this room whether the rest of the apartment is booked or not. In this kind of booking you have to know that you will share bathroom, kitchen and living room with your flatmates. Everyone is responsible for his/her own room and the rest of the apartment will be under the shared responsibility of all the tenants .

To book an apartment: the tenant will be the only person responsible for the whole apartment and will have to pay the total rent of the flat whether all the bedrooms are occupied or not.

Prices

We cannot guarantee that all the prices of our apartments will always be the same. It depends on the demand and on the owners of each flat. That is the reason why, after receiving an accommodation booking, the owners confirm the prices of the flats to us. The prices are the following ones:

Single room: from 280 to 320 €

Twin room: from 370 to 395 €

Apartment:

for 2 people: from 500 to 580 €

for 3 people: from 680 to 780 €

Agency fees to be paid at the signature of the contract:100 €

Deposit

In order to confirm a booking you will have to pay a one month rent deposit. This deposit will be considered as a security between the tenant and the agency.

The deposit will be refunded at the end of the contract, after checking the apartment and the keys have been returned.

Inventory

When you are given the keys, an inventory of fixtures will be done in order to note any kind of problem there might be and fix them. The tenant will have 2 days to communicate any other problem to QualityCourses. After this period of time the tenant will be the only responsible for his/her accommodation.

Information

We have apartments from 2 to 7 bedrooms.

If somebody is staying with you, you will have to warn QualityCourses. In the opposite case, it will be considered a non-respect of the contract.

Any reservation supposes a 100 € agency fee.

None of our properties has central heating, air conditioning, phone, cable or satellite T.V.

Sheets and towels are not provided.

Bills for electricity, water, gas and maintenance charges are not always included in the rent.

Any reservation supposes a one month rent deposit that will be refunded at the end of the contract.

A non respect of the contract will generate a loss of the deposit.

All the families we work with are located in the city centre of Malaga and have been carefully selected. Staying with a host family is the best way to learn the language quickly and will allow you to discover the Spanish habits and culture.

Prices:

We cannot guarantee that the host families’ prices will always be the same. It depends on the demand and obviously on the families. Consequently, the families confirm their price to us each time we receive a booking.

The prices are about the following ones (per month):

Half board: 495 € - 595 €

Any reservation of a room in a host family imposes a management fee, amounted to 100 €. This amount will be paid in one payment, once the contract is signed.

Families do not always allow using the kitchen.

Cleaning is included.

Bills are usually included (water, electricity, gas,…).

Deposit

To confirm a booking or in order to realize an accommodation contract, you have to pay a deposit, which correspond, to a one month´s rent. This deposit will be considered as security to the contract, to the pay of the rent and the maintenance of the room / flat.

Refund of the deposit: your deposit will be refunded at the end of the contract, when the keys are returned and an inventory has been succesfully carried out.

To know:

Any reservation of an accommodation supposes a 100 € management fee.

Use of the kitchen is not always allowed by all families.

The cleaning is usually included, but certain families can ask for an extra for use the washing machine.

Bills are usually included (water, electricity, gas,…).

You have to leave a one month´s deposit for any booking of an accommodation. This deposit will be refunded when the keys are returned and the contract ends.

The deposit will not be refunded in case of non-respect of the contract.
