Information about HamburgBook Work Experience in Hamburg

Hamburg is located in the north-east of Germany and is the second biggest city in population. Hamburg is a seaport and commercial city and is the leading industrial center of Germany. The cultural offer of Hamburg is very wide. You can find a great variety of public museums, night pubs of the most glamorous type, theatres and numerous restaurants that offer an international kitchen.

One of the principal attractions of Hamburg is the port zone, where excursions can be made by ship or by foot along the rivers, with a fantastic sight over the city. Some of the ships are anchored, inviting the visitors on board. Some of them are museums exposing ancient photographies, objects of art, etc.

Due to the fact that many of the bridges in Hamburg are narrow and do not allow car traffic, the best way to explore the city is by foot or bicycles, that tourists can rent in several parts of the city. In the downtown one can find a multitude of shops, as the symbolic outdoors cafés that exist in Hamburg. The public transport is excellent, like everywhere in Germany. One can move rapidly with the modern trains or buses.
