Information about Malta
Malta is one of three inhabited islands placed in the center of the Mediterranean Sea, called Malta, Pleasure and Cumin. They are beautiful and charming islands with landscapes dominated by low hills with steep coasts.
The Capital is La Valletta. The national language is the Maltese, though the English is recognized as official language, and many Malteses also speak Italian. The currency is the Euro. Malta is a parliamentary democracy which obtained the independence of the United Kingdom in 1964.

Malta is the biggest of the three islands and the cultural center. Malta has a Mediterranean climate with soft and rainy winters and warm dry summers.
In Malta you can find the Hipogeo, known in the whole world and declared patrimony of the humanity by the UNESCO, prehistoric temples and huge palaces, numerous and interesting museums, entertainment in the opera, theatre and ballet, or you may visit other tourist attractions.
Malta has a wonderful climate, extensive beaches, a very busy night life, a great number of restaurants, bars, night clubs and casinos. Especially the night clubs attract a lot of our students doing an English course in our English School.
